Ahhhh Venice!!! AND the Internet - wahoo for those of us back here!! After a really, really long all day and overnight (14 hours total - ugh!) train ride from the southern tip of Italy up to the northern part, they made it to Venice. She also was grateful to have her dear friend Elaine "Grammie" Evans arrive in Venice for this part of the trip. My first email from Eustacia came in and here was the update:
"Venice is amazing, beautiful and fabulous...really a dream. We even road a gondola today. Just loved it. We had to take a picture of Alanna by the water (not too difficult since there is so much around) because Alanna wanted to show the water and herself to her friends."
